About Zing markbit
Zing markbit is a technology platform built to help Zambians who are interested in investing understand the market better and act on clearer information. We hold three values above all: clarity, so every screen and report can be understood without a finance degree; transparency, so costs, timelines and risks are stated before you commit anything; and security, so your data and your account are protected by layers we describe openly on this site. The result we aim for is an environment where a first-time investor can act calmly even when markets move fast, supported by information, analytical tools and a real person on the phone.

Our mission
Most Zambians who want their savings to work harder face a choice between fixed deposits that barely move and a trading world that assumes years of experience. Our mission is to close that gap with automation and human guidance working together. The engine does what people cannot: it watches currency, gold and digital asset markets continuously, weighs probability-based signals and executes without hesitation or emotion. Our managers do what software cannot: they listen to your situation, explain options in plain English and stay with your account month after month.
We measure ourselves by whether a user with no background can reach an informed decision on this platform. That is why the fee schedule is published in full, why every guide on the Learn pages is written for beginners, and why the risk disclosure describes loss scenarios as carefully as the homepage describes opportunity. Capital placed in markets is capital at risk, and we would rather say it plainly than lose your trust by hiding it.
How the company grew
Six years of changes that shaped the platform you see today.
2021
Zing markbit starts as a small automated trading desk in Lusaka, serving a first group of local users with two currency pairs and one strategy.
2022
The analysis engine learns to track gold and the first digital assets alongside currencies, and every new client is paired with a personal manager by phone.
2023
Mobile money deposits through MTN and Airtel go live, so funding an account no longer requires a bank visit, and the weekly report e-mail is introduced.
2024
The fourth generation of the engine adds circuit-breaker logic that can pause trading when markets turn extreme, plus a rebuilt dashboard with clearer results tracking.
2025
A dedicated learning section launches with plain-language guides for first-time investors, and identity verification moves fully online for most applicants.
2026
The platform passes two hundred thousand registered users across the region and the support team expands to evening coverage for the after-work rush.
